David C. Scott and I are collaborating again on a second project. Our first project together was "Buying a Father" and chamber operetta, which he wrote the libretto to. I am currently building a flash web-sound instillation for his poem"Suppose." Stay tuned for the launching of the Suppose site.
Robert Reigle and I have decided to begins some work together for an upcoming concert. The details are still in the works but it should be a very exciting project.
Tropendrift: the CD is now available in selected stores in The Netherlands. Available soon on CDBaby for international sales and download.
Islak Kopek will be playing at the AkBank Jazz Festival in Istanbul this coming fall, which will hopefully coincide with the release of our first album engineered and mixed by myself.
Current Projects and Work
I am working on a new stage work, which I have la bled as an opera. This will be performed in the Spring of 2007 with a DVD release to follow.
Research for a book about musical evolution and style entitled, "Timeline to an Aesthetic: a Look at a Canon and Composer's Musical DNA."
